For one recent blonde transformation, Bryony blended three Beauty Works shades: Mocha Melt, Bergen Blonde and Linen Blonde. Rather than using one block shade, she could pick up the different tones already running through the client's natural hair.
Another transformation blended Mocha Melt and Bergen Blonde, creating a softer result that worked with the client's existing tone.
This is the difference between simply adding hair and creating extensions that genuinely look like they belong there.
Your natural hair rarely contains one completely flat colour. Therefore, your extensions don't necessarily need to either.

Placement matters enormously.
One of Bryony's recent clients had 16-inch Beauty Works tapes, kept on the lighter side so they moved naturally with her own hair rather than overpowering it.
