24 Hours' Cancellation Notice 

Your appointments are very important to us here at The Cutting Studio in Hazlemere. Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you and our stylists carefully prepare for your visit to give you the best service possible. 

Please give us at least 24 hours' notice if you are unable to attend your appointment.  When you forget or cancel your appointment without enough notice, we may struggle to fill your appointment time.  This can be particularly frustrating, especially if this is a haircut and colour, hair extensions hair smoothing or colour correction appointment which is likely to last a few hours.

If you do not attend your appointment time, our stylists lose out.  Therefore, we respectfully ask you to contact the salon ASAP if you are unable to attend your appointment.

Cancellation Fees

Since our services are reserved for you personally, the following cancellation charges will apply:

• If an appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice then the full charge will apply or be added to your next bill.
• An unattended appointment will be classed as a ‘no show’ so the full charge will apply or will be added to your next bill.

A deposit will be required to secure your appointment.

Late Arrivals

If you are late for your appointment we will do all we can to honour your appointment slot.  In some circumstances, you may have to wait for the next available stylist - and you will be charged for the original stylist you booked in with.

Re-Do Policy

The Cutting Studio team work really hard to achieve the look and style you have in your mind. Don’t panic if you are not 100% happy please get in touch, sometimes it’s simply a tweak here and there and our friendly team will strive to get it just perfect!!

Skin Testing

If you are new to hair colour or have not had your hair coloured at The Cutting Studio in Hazlemere for six months or more you will need to come in for a quick skin test 48 hours prior to your appointment.

Our skin testing procedure is essential to ensure you do not have any adverse reaction to the chemicals in your hair colour.  No appointment is necessary for the skin testing - simply pop in and we will dab some hair colour discreetly on your arm.  If you experience any discomfort please gently clean the area with warm water and let us know.  

Reactions to hair colourant are rare but people can develop hypersensitivities or allergies at any stage in their lives.  Certain medications can also make you more sensitive to hair colour ingredients.
